And something made me laugh
It was a creepy crawly bug
A-dancin round my tub
"He said to me how do you do?"
I said, "excuse me mr bug,
But whatcha doin in my tub?"
He said "it's oh so cold outside
And I need a place to hide away
Until the winter's through."
He said "I've lived outside all year
And I must say it appears
That you could use a friend
Someone who could lend a smile, a song
When you're alone."
I said "I'm sorry mr. bug
But you can't stay in my tub.
You never did me wrong
But I got to say so long
I don't have time for silly bugs.
And as the water ran
He said "I'm sorry man!"
And smiled a buggy smile
He only struggled for a while
Then let the water take him away
