"The Gathering" sounded too much like a certain card game, so it's been modified to "The Half Moon Gathering", in reference to the meeting time for (some) demipagans.

Wiccans will meet on the new moon and the full moon. On the former, works are started, and on the latter, they are finished. But as those who would maintain continuity with our pasts, we know that no effort is ever begun that is not a continuation of a chain of efforts reaching into a long forgotten past. Nor is any task ever complete, as each success leads us to the beginning of a new effort that we would not have imagined the need for, earlier. So, on these terms, it would be fitting that we should meet on the half moons, which partake in their nature of both the new and full moons, of both beginnings and endings.
