I suppose that it would be almost gratuitous at this point to mention that I used to be Jewish, and am more than slightly annoyed with Ramessu at this point. But it would almost be beside the point, because while he is responsible for his own conduct, I am responsible for my own annoyance. I have been too willing to snap at the bait in this forum (my lengthy rebuttal to Neppy is a case in point), and I need to stop that. It just wastes everybody's time.

From the moment that Ramessu began to put that chip on his shoulder, I should have had the sense to realize that this discussion was going nowhere, and cut it short. My apologies to the group, and maybe even to myself, for not exercising that level of good sense. I'll try to do better (and not feed the trolls) in the future.
