The population of Zhuang nationality is about 15.5 million persons, most of them live in Guangxi, Guangdong, Guizhou, Yunnan and Hunan province. They have their own language and writing language.
Zhuang used to worship nature , believe in the Primitive Religion which believe Multi-Gods, now a few of them believe in Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity or Catholicism.
Most Zhuang are engaged in agriculture.
"March 3th." is the traditional festival of Zhuang, it is also named " song festival". It is popular place of social activities for young people .
Zhuang female are good at weaving brocade, the Zhuang brocade, which is equally famous as Xiang (Hunan province) embroidery and Shu ( Sichuan province) brocade, is well known all over the world.
Zhuang love bronze drums, there are more than 500 ancient bronze drums in Guangxi. The king bronze drum is with diagram 165cm, height 67.5cm and weight more than 300kg. In festival or religious activities, Zhuang people would beat their bronze drums to celebrate or pray.
