The population of Chaoxian(Korean) nationality is about 1.9 million persons, most of them live in Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Nei Mongol. They have their own language and writing language.
Not many Korean believe in any religions, only a few of them believe in Buddhism, Christianity or Catholicism.
Most Korean are engaged in agriculture, especially good at cultivate paddy.
Korean respect the aged persons and care the children very much. They attach importance to education and have finished wiping out illiteracy. There are hundreds of qualified scientists , technicians ,scholars and artists growing up in Korean. For aged persons, every Korean is polite to aged person and they have " aged person festival on lunar Sep.9th.
Korean is one of the nationalities which are good at singing and dancing, some Korean
songs are well known all over the country. Every Korean is a good singer and dancer, most
children are taught to play some musical instruments when they are very young.
Korean love sport very much, they are good at football(soccer), ski, wrestling, plank-jumping(See the picture as follow) and swing. Yanbian---one of the regions Korean living--- is regarded as " the hometown of football".
