| I've been working on this page off and on all day. I kinda like having this outlet for everything I've been feeling lately. If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to add them to my guest book at the bottom of the page. Okay, a little bit about me now that I didnt cover in the first page. I'm 20 years old. My insurance is Tricare Prime. I'm a little ansy about this, I dont know how they will handle me wanting WLS. But they have handled my referrals so far quickly. I am 5'7 and somewhere around 300lbs. My BMI registers at 46/47. So I know I am a candidate for surgery. Tomorrow I am having my gall bladder ultra sound, that should be no big deal. I'll wear cotton shorts, not jeans and hope they let me keep my pants on LOL (i'm so shy) Friday I had my blood work for the thyroid screening. The first time in a long time they got me on the first stick, but then the vein quit giving blood and the lady had to manually massage it out of my arm :( so now i have a bruise from that. I will add more tomorrow after the ultrasound. Have a great day everyone! |

| I went in for my ultra sound this morning. First patient in, so it went quickly. She did my whole abdomen hope everything looks okay. When I got home I called Lisa at Dr. Tenewitz office but she is unable to see me when I come over there this week :( this driving back and forth stuff is going to be the hardest part I think. Especially when I take family with me. Not much else happened today. Just feeling somewhat down and depressed that last couple days and I'm not sure why. But tomorrows another day right? |

| Hi all! Happy Independence Day! I got back yesterday from my trip to Melbourne for the seminar.I'm so glad I went. I took my mom with me and I think we both learned alot. I met the Doctor and his nurse. I also met Lisa. She seems very very sweet. And I think she will be very helpful through all this. They said it will take about two weeks for them to call and schedule the first appointment with everyone. The first appointment is with Lisa. Then you get your appointement with Dr. Tenewitz. That probably will take another whole month. But then you should get your surgery date. All in all, seems like a quick process with this office, compared to others. My focus now is finding a psychiatrist and getting that out of the way. I'll also write my Insurance letter. The personal one. That should be easy! |
