My Father soon had a little coy smile on his face. He turned to me and then recounted how when they were children they used to crawl through the vent (which was large enough to fit children in those days) and how they would watch television when their parents didn't know.  He chuckled alittle and commented on how his Mother had never found out. Saying that he then realized he'd forgotton a piece of equipment. He left me alone in the room. I stood there trying to picture how it had been. I suddenly felt three tugs in the hem of my dress. I hadn't imagined them! As I felt the tugs I understood who was there with me. I turned around to a chair that was behind me and whispered, "Hello Grandma, I guess you know now huh?". The tugging had been friendly again, pleasant, with a little humor to it. I never knew this Grandmother in this life but I know she watches over me to this day.

I believe that this same grandmother has been responsible for many other helpful manifestations. A couple of years ago I had a period of severe allergic reactions where my eyes would swell badly and I would be in terrible pain. I coped with it best I could be nothing really worked to get rid of it. As all allergies, certain times of the day were worse for me. I wasn't really aware of those times well enough at that point. It was summer, and it was hotter than blazes so I left my windows and shade wide open during the night(s). The thing is my windows and shade would close and draw themselves just before morning. I was sure that I hadn't closed them myself and my door was always locked at night. This happened some half dozen times. I soon read afterwards that allergies are often worse in the mornings when pollens are released during this time of day. I thanked the spirit who thought of my well being. I still can't figure out how I didn't hear the windows (which require you turn a handle!) squeaking....or the shade being drawn. I know for a fact I'm not a sleep walker.
