Stage 4

Stage 5

Analysis of Information Requirements

Reference Information Design

Reference Materials Development

Development of Communication Strategies

Design of Information Management and Control Systems

Stage 1: Analysis of Information Requirements

During analysis of information requirements, Christine works with you to identify the information requirements of the target audience(s) of the reference materials. Information is collected about the various tasks that employees complete and the kinds of information required by them to complete these tasks.

Stage 2: Reference Information Design

During the design stage of a project, Christine assesses the target audience information requirements and develops a project plan, which includes a detailed design of the content of the final product (for example, the Table of Contents of a manual).

Stage 3: Reference Materials Development

During the development stage, Christine prepares the final product. The development stage may be completed by Christine alone, or with your employees working as part of a development team. During this stage, all draft materials are submitted to relevant client Subject Matter Experts for content review and approval.

Stage 4: Development of Communication Strategies

Where the final product will affect large numbers of people, or will be used by people in a wide range of locations, it is recommended that a strategy is developed to inform people of the impending change. Christine can assist you with developing this communication strategy for your organisation.

Stage 5: Design of Information Management and Control Systems

All documents need to be managed and controlled to ensure the availability of up-to-date information to those requiring it. The information management and control systems need to include provision for information accessibility and reviews, revisions, approvals and dispositions. Christine can assist you with developing these systems.
