About a month ago while Matt was feeding Jake he noticed that Jake's pupils were unequal, the left one was larger than the other. After watching it for most of the day we called the clinic and she suggested that we go to a pediatric optomotrist just to have it checked out. So today all three boys had eye appointments to make sure they were all seeing as they should (prematurity may cause eye problems). The pediatric optomotrist said everything looked good. Jake's unequal pupils are not anything to be concerned about as most children's eyes will change as they grow and more than likely his unequal pupils will become less noticable.
Aaron hit a milestone today! He rolled over! He has a little difficulty getting his hands in front of him to help support himself rather than using only his neck muscles. So we help him get adjusted and then he rolls over all by himself.
Jake started cereal tonight before bed. He has almost always woken up around 3-4am and usually hungry so tonight we decided to start him on cereal. We will see if it works. We may give a little to Mitchell too if it seems to help Jake even though Mitchell doesn't wake up very often it probably wouldn't hurt.
Well Mitchell didn't want to be the last one to roll over so tonight after he finished eating Chrissy put him on his belly to see if he would roll over and within a few seconds he did, unassisted. The first time Mitchell rolled over a couple months ago must have been a fluke because he hasn't again until today.
Recently we noticed a couple white spots on Jake's bottom gums and thought it might be teeth. Now they are really creaping up and are more obvious now. We have our first teether!
Today Aaron rolled from back to front. He has been rolling from side to side on his back but finally made it all the way over today.
Jake did it! He rolled over from front to back unassisted.
Today the pediatrician came to our house for the boys' 6 month checkup. They are all doing great except she thinks they should be eating more. Even though they aren't eating "enough" they still have gained weight.

She also mentioned that Jake probably isn't getting teeth they are just bumps, not teeth. So we will see in the next few days if anything develops.

Mitchell rolled from back to front today!
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were spent at our house. Luckily our families were understanding and spent the day with us instead of us traveling. Check out the new pictures.
