Here are a few questions that might come to mind upon visiting the forum.
1) Who ARE these people?
The website and forum were set up by a group of people who met on the Yahoo Christianity Experts forum when the yahoo forum became non-functional.
2) Do I have to be an expert to ask or answer a question?
Of course not. Most of us aren't REALLY experts.
3) Are Christianity Experts "christians"?
Depends on what you mean by "Christian."
4) Are any of the experts Republicans?
Of course. Aren't all Christians Republicans these days?
5) Are there crazy people here?
Without a doubt. Stick around and you'll figure out who they are.
6) Why isn't my particular brand of Christianity being "promoted" here?
This group represents a wide variety of types of Christians, all of whom believe they've discovered the "one true faith" or at the very least, a meaningful connection to the divine. And at least one pagan who feels exactly the same way.
