| Father, You are so amazing! I cannot keep my mouth shut, when it comes to thinking about how much You loved me! I know I'm not perfect, sometimes I feel pretty worthless, but I'm not going to run away from You. Even when I'm depressed, when I'm doubting or asking why, I'm still going to come to You. Because when I'm in Your Holy presence, I see myself for what I really am... and I don't like what I see. I realize what a sinner I am, and that would make anyone, want to run from You. But I also realize what I'm lacking, and I find it in You. Everything I'm not- all my hope, my joy, my peace. Everything is found in You. Everything I need. I can't do it by myself Father, because I'll never succeed. Nothing worthwhile, or good can come out of my own works. It's all flith. But with You, I have hope. I have goodness, pureness. You give my strength to make it through each and every day. And I fall to my knees, when I think about Your love, and how You can love someone like me, enough to forgive me. You never fail to amaze me. I stand in awe of Your unfailing love, Your righteousness, Your mercy, Your grace. | Ephesians 3:14-21 When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources, He will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages, Amen. |
