Speaking on a more personal note:

Connie will share with you her spiritual journey which began as she was growing up in The Worldwide Church of God (WCG) from the age of two. At age 18, after her father was publically and nationally excommunicated, she left the WCG and then disavowed Christianity altogether several years later.  Throughout the intervening years she was actively studying and involving herself in a variety of New Age and Eastern practices.  Meanwhile she was being trained academically in secular literary theory.  It was only when someone suggested she read the fiction of C. S. Lewis that she began her journey back towards Christianity, though rather reluctantly at first.  After reading almost every book Lewis wrote, Connie began to finally understand the transforming power of God's love and the enormity of His grace.
