I spent two days in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan at the end of March 2001. I was there to check out the spacebridge, a project the Azeri and Armenian Internews offices are doing together. I also went to see a little bit of the city and found the place where Natella used to live. She was born in Baku and lived there from 1975 till 1988 when her family fled to Russia.
The spacebridge is an Internews production that brings together people from Azerbaijan and Armenia every week for a 30 minute talk-show by using satellite TV connections in Baku and Yerevan.
