
The Dewey Fire Department is part of Dewey Fire Company No. 1, which is a volunteer based fire and rescue company serving the community of Hellertown, located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
The department is equipped with 2 Class C engines, 1 engine, a 100' aerial, and a medium duty Rescue.
The department is under command
of 7 officers. The positions of Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief were
elected at the company meeting that was held on Tuesday, October 27, 1999.
