FORGOTTEN LEGENDS - Episode II - Duvik's Mine
Quickly, and as expected, all thoughts turned to the two new guests, and the kobolds quickly surrounded them. Spears stabbed, bolts flew, and one of the kobolds began chanting arcane magics. Teemto quickly deciphered it as sorcerer magic, and screamed Spellcaster! After dispatching some of the kobolds around them, Duh tried to clear a path to the kobold that was casting. He quickly found himself on fire, a target of a burning hands spell cast by the leader. However, the leader gasped in horror as he overestimated the power of his spell, having burnt to a crisp one of his bodyguards.

Shenya quickly climbed up the rope after Arris. In what was to surely become a fine example of a great feat of dexterity and strength, Teemto tripped. While climbing up a rope. On rough stone. Teemto struggled, but finally manage to make it to the top. However, his presence was not necessary, as Duh quickly overpowered the few others that were still alive. Upon seeing that he was clearly outnumbered, the arcane kobold cried, in decently understandable common, UNCLE! The mere suddenness of his sound surprised everyone in his room, and Duh stopped his axe in mid-swing from severing the head of a kobold that was poking him with a spear. Everyone stared at the kobold sorcerer until Killian quickly jumped on him and pinned him down.

Who are you, and what are you doing here? Fear was the only emotion that the kobold felt. He didnt answer. Killian repeated the question, only this time with more volume. Who are you, and what are you doing here? This time, the kobold heard, and meekly replied Mdok. That my name. And I only here to find food. And guard room.

Guard the room from what.

From you. His simple answer took Killian by surprised, and Mdok jumped at the opportunity. Please let me go? His whimpering was pathetic.

What is down that passage way? Killian had learned this time to not always kill those who deserved the ultimate retribution for their crimes. Sometimes interrogation was better than capital punishment. Especially when their lives were at stake.

Mdok not go down there. Big Bad Guy down there. Killian had expected as much, as he really didnt think that this Mdok could be the source of so many problems in Duviks Pass. And Mdok was not very helpful in giving him any additional information. Killian tried a new approach.
