and more |

and I spent the day with her son Shawn and his family. We started
the day by attending Easter services at Nazareth Lutheran in
Withee. The rest of the day we just hung out doing things around
their house. The day concluded with us watching the DVD, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The
Witch and The Wardrobe"... It was a great day. It
had been too long since we had a day like that. My memories have been jarred significantly a few times recently. Going through my MP3/DVD's, finding and listening to music I haven't heard in a long time, takes me back to times in my life I haven't thought about since. One of my first gigs in Chicago was opening for "Billy Peiffer & Iowa" back in 1998. Their CD, "Tales from the Cowbelt", is one I'm surprised I don't listen to more often. Another BLAST from the PAST showed up in my email today. An old girlfriend from back in 1985/6 googled me and dropped me a line... My guess is she found my TC Music Net page ... Judging from her email, I don't think she has read "this BLOG"... It's going to be weird replying to that one. |
