Water Level |
We
seem to have the water in the basement under control temporarily.
I need to rent some tools to install the sub-pump. Hopefully,
I'll be able to install the sub-pump tomorrow. The utility pump I
bought a couple of years ago and 100 feet of garden hose is keeping the
basement dry enough to run the furnace. Yep, the furnace is
working. I spoke with a furnace guy today and he said that if
it's working then it's OK and we shouldn't have to worry about it. The project of installing the sub-pump should be completed tomorrow. I plan to cut the hole in the low spot in the basement with a masonary saw I'll rent to create the correct pit required for the pump. Running the pipe and hose outside just requires a hole to the outside and I have the electrical stuff to put in the outlet to plug in the pump. It'll be a long day... |
