| Busy
Days (Daze) 6:00 PM |
I
figure since it's been a busy past 3 days I would start this page while
I try to do some of the other things around the cabin that are on my to
do list... So, While I manufacture a few more copies of my Live at Acadia CD to try and sell at Better Buy in Medford, I'll write during my "waiting time..." I'll need to go back to Saturday and start there... |
| More
about Saturday Another task that was accomplished was changing the oil and filters on our vehicles. Our mechanics did a great job. There's an advantage having Shawn and Shay so close by and their enjoyment of "wrenching" on our vehicles... Karen had to take a picture of her son and grandson working on her vehicle. |

Sunday... |
After
I posted my BLOG page that morning, I took my walk down the long path
to the Pathfinder to go home to the farm for brunch with Shawn, Olive,
Shay, Hannah and Morgan. When I turned to key to start the
Pathfinder, all I heard was the clicking sound that said there wasn't
enough juice in the battery to start it. To add to the list of electrical problems, when I called Karen to let her know I was stranded, she told me the furnace had not kicked in and the temperature was 58º in the house. Getting the furnace working was definitely more important than the Pathfinder at that point. Karen came and jump started the Pathfinder with the Saturn. For the first hour, while everyone was at our house we tried to get the furnace going. Shawn! found the problem. A fuse on the circuit board in the furnace was burned out. So, we sat down for brunch. After brunch, I went into town (Medford) and got a couple new fuses after several phone calls trying to locate one. We know for sure now that the house is well insullated. The house took most of the day to cool off with the furnace not working. We had heat again by 4:30 that afternoon... |
| Monday...
yesterday |
The
major task for the day was getting the Pathfinder running with a new
battery. The corroded cable connections almost made the project a
couple of days long. Thankfully, a small C-clamp and plans to
replace the negative battery cable soon has the Pathfinder running well
enough to get around here for now. |
| Today's
Stuff... |
The
highlight is planning for the coming Chemo. Things like Topping
Up our cell phones and deciding when to leave aren't much to write
about. Yesterday, I stopped at a store in Medford that buys and sells CD, Videos, Games and Furniture. I asked about selling my CD's on consignment and plan to give it a shot. Hence, I'm making more CD's this evening. |
