| The Open Mic |
It's Thursday afternoon as I sit here and write. The fire in the fireplace is slowly warming things up before I head back to the farm and then to the open mic. I try to do something "different" every week. This week I don't have anything that I can consider "different" to play. The past few months of spending Thursday evenings at Louie's Pub in Medford is a good fix for me to perform. Tonight I plan to do a tribute to my friend Hook. I'll be playing songs that he wrote.
 I don't know if any readers of this BLOG live around here but if there are any, it would be great if you'd come out some Thursday evening around 7:00 and before kareoke starts at 9:00 to experience some live music for fun and experimentation. |
