SPORTS PLAZA FURUKAWA! Quite simply the best all-around deal when searching for a place to exercise. (Relatively) cheap, close to my school, has plenty of weights... There's no pool, yeah, and no aerobics, and it hasn't been fixed up since (probably) 1980, but hey, that doesn't make the weights any lighter, right?
MEGATON KARAOKE! All things named "Megaton" are cool by default. This place earns extra cool-points for having a "party room" that fits 30, and a "scoring" option that ranks your singing performance against others who try the same song.

COIN LAUNDRY!!! Now, I have to ask, where has this place been all my life?? Quite possibly the coolest place in Furukawa, the coin laundry across from Jusco offers high-quality washers and dryers for a reasonable price. Plus it's clean and spacious inside, with a table, chairs, tv, even a freakin' massage chair! With the Jusco McDonald's only a few paces away, I do believe I have found heaven on Earth, or at least in Furukawa... |
