Basic Facts About Hunter X Hunter

Well, for me, there are five sagas/arcs in the anime series. First is the Hunter Exam Arc. This starts from the first episode of the series, during the course of the Hunter Exam, up to the Final Test, and lastly on the episode where Gon and the rest of the gang decides to go to the Zaoldyeck's residence up in Kukuloo Mountains to see Killua.

The next one is a mini-arc. This includes GOn, Kurapika, and Leorio's training at Kukuloo Mountains in order to open the Door of Challenge to be able to see Killua who was being held captive by his family. This ends when Killua is allowed by his father to go and see his friends.

After the Zaoldyeck mini-arc, the next us is also a mini-saga. This is the part where Gon and Killua head to the Tower where they meet Wing and where they learned the secret principles of Nen (which are only taught to those who passed the Hunter Exam). This arc continues up to the point where Gon and Killua head for York New City.

Next one is the Ryodan Arc. This arc finishes the anime series television episodes and is concluded in the first ova of HxH (8 episodes). This ends when Kurapika successfully binds Kuroro's nen which forbid Kuroro to use his nen lest he wanted to sacrifice his life.

Lastly, is the Greed Island Sage. This is my most favorite part of HxH. This whole arc takes place in the Greed Island (the virtual game created by Gon's father and his friends).
