Reassembly
Finally
To the right is a shot of us placing the cab back on the chassis.  I mentioned this earlier as being one of the most stressful moments for me as I didn't want to even think about the cab falling seven feet to the ground.  Once on the lift, she just kept going higher and higher.  We had to do this in order to roll the chassis (with steering column/wheel) under the cab
Once the cab was back on the chassis, I was finally relaxed.  This was a huge step in the reassembly process.  While a lot of work was left to be done, it seemed as though a lot of progress was made in just the marrying of parts back to their familiar locations.
I didn't drive the truck on the same day that we mounted the cab, but this is a good shot of the cab and chassis back together once again.  You can see the sun reflecting off of the cab - very cool.
We had to drive the truck to make sure it went through all four gears (3 forward, one reverse) and to ensure that it would brake properly; not sway and roll around.  All went fine, she drove pretty well.
A few things to note: The cab is on the chassis with no floor, no doors and no windshield.  I am sitting on a doubled-over cushion just to get a little bit of height and to be able to see through the windshield.
