These are just a few problems that Stray Rescue of Saint Louis deals with on an everyday basis in the dogs they rescue.  They save dogs that have been forgotten & have no hope.   Take for instance a few of the dogs that have recently been helped:   

Schaffer,  a very cute short-haired mix was tortured & abused ---someone had poured acid down his back!!

Hannah,   a sweet gentle lab mix was deathly skinny with broken bones & pregnant

Dreamer,   a fuzzy,floppy eared dog was freezing in the cold & suffered injuries by a pack of dogs

Rick,  a handsome shepherd mix had been burned with acid & was dragging around a 30lb padlock!
