Tum Boon Song Kran on Saturday April 14th, 2001.

Since April 13th of every year is the Thai New Year Day or Song Kran day, we celebrated here at Morton Community Center, Purdue University, Indiana State.  At the beginning of the day, there were many Thai people, who wanted to "Tum Boon" or give food, flower, or money to a monk.  Actually, they were waiting for FREE THAI FOOD for lunch at noon.  The second picture is the truly Buddhists, who were there until the end of the ceremony.  Of course, it includes me too!   A Ahh, the second one from the right, she is Susan, a Chinese girl, who wanted to learn about Thai ceremony.
