Further Research

This project raised some interesting questions. Chief among them is what exactly do learners believe is effective for TOEIC preparation. If we accept they there is an assumption that TOEIC classes are different and need to be taught differently, we need to look into what the learners believe those differences are. I am currently administering surveys to both TOEIC learners and their teachers to try and pin down points of agreement and differences in perceptions of what is necessary for TOEIC success.

Teachers working in TOEIC preparation classes who are interested in participating in the survey are asked to email me to receive a copy of the questionnaire.
