Bangkok
The endgame began with our return to Bangkok.  After 5 months of Asian travel we felt savvy enough to brave 4 days in this visceral metropolis.
The flower market seemed a safe enough place to begin.

John was our tour guide for a culinary tour from the North of Thailand.  It took a fair amount of Singha beer to wash down this chili laiden deliciousness.
Our friend Brad whom we had met on the Annapurna Circuit took us to an excellent traditional Puppet Show for yet more culture enrichment.  Thanks Brad!
Enough culture - let's get down to some serious shopping at the Weekend Market, apparently the largest market on the planet.
They were happy to sell, we were happy to buy.  Can you say "win win"?
