Ko Muk

We last left you on Ko Muk and that is where this story begins...
I know we promised 'no more sunsets' but this time I mean it!
This is our man Bang at Charlie Beach Resort.  He worked on his english while Lori worked on her Thai.
I hope this tan lasts till Christmas!
Over the past five months we've been transported by planes, trains, automobiles, motorcycles, subways, skytrains, long boats, ferries, fishing boats, outriggers, kayaks, rickshaws, bicycles, our own two feet, and even donkey carts but this was probably the most hair raising - five people and their luggage crammed onto a scooter with homemade side car!
This long boat was definitely a little more reliable and a great deal more pleasant to look at.
These are the Popplewells, Daniel and Lucy, from England via L.A. and Bangkok respectively.  Great folk and wicked card players.
Ko Phagnan - Haad Yao
More beach (are you picking up the theme here?)
When the water temp is around 29C kayaking can be a lot of fun.
Cocktail hour is a daily ritual.
A thai massage was about the most athletic thing Ian had done in days!
Jack's Bar is a famous laid back watering hole just off the beach. Many Canadian friends have enjoyed the endless 'buckets' in this fine establishment.  Possibly our favourite bar on the planet.
Ang Thong Marine Park
After lounging around at Haad Yao we finally got our keen back and headed out on a three day trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park.
Needless to say it was well worth the effort!
Silly monkey.
The sea kayaking was absolutely phenomenal.  Nice form Lori.
The subterranean kayaking was pretty good too...
A more pleasant spot to camp is hard to imagine.
More fantastic scenery in Ang Thong...
A Thai fishing vessel on the way back to Ko Phagnan.
