Bring me to ...

Australia

Brisbane - the Sunshine Capital of Queensland. At the Gold Coast, you can enjoy yourself with the thrilling rides at the theme parks and have great fun! At Warner Brothers Movieworld, can take the Batman Adventure Ride, watch the Police Academy Stunt Show ... At Seaworld, take the fun-filled rides such as the Corkscrew Roller Coaster and the Bermuda Triangle. Many more exciting rides are found at Dreamworld ... and not forgetting the shopping trips at the Pacific Fair - Queensland's largest shopping centre and the Surfers Paradise

Sydney - the Australia's gateway. Well, Sydney shopping is rated as Australia's top tourist attraction. One of the world's most beautiful shopping centres is the Queen Victoria Building. Took a walk to Darling Harbour, the Rocks area - Sydney's birthplace, Sydney Harbour, and viewed the Sydney Harbour Bridge which is the world's widest long-span bridge. The Rocks Market is a vibrant and colourful crafts bazaar at every weekend which you shouldn't miss! At Circular Quay, boarded the the Sydney Harbour Cruise which took me around the beautiful Sydney Harbour. AMP Tower Centrepoint is the Sydney's tallest building from which you get fantastic views. To get a spectacular views of the Blue Mountains and the Three Sisters, stop at the Echo Point. I also took the scenic skyway, a cable car crossing 350m above the gorge.

Melbourne - the Garden State of Victoria. The city tour took us to the St Patrick's Cathedral, the lovely banks of Yarra River ... I also got to shop at the famous department store, David Jones and walked the whole street down in the city to find where the Hard Rock Cafe Restaurant finally was !!!

Tasmania - the state with the cleanest air

Laucheston - Tasmania's Northern Capital

Guide Falls Alpaca Park. You can experience hands-on at spinning and weaving using the 'fleece'. But what I like most about this place is that you can get to see the Alpaca which are friendly and cuddly with luxurious fur which can be made into garments. The Alpaca is a kind of camel but without the humps, and hence it looks really extraordinary and cute!

Flowerdale Valley Emu Farm. Includes a farm tour to experience the Emu's life from the egg to adulthood including nesting , incubation and hatching of Emu. And yah, I managed to touch the baby Emu :) and feed the young Emus as well. They also showed us what a real Emu egg and how it was comparable to an ostrich egg. If you are looking for healthy food, the Emu meat contains 0% fat and twice the amount of iron (if i recall correctly) ...

Cradle Mountain. The Lake St Clair National Park forms Tasmania's magnificent 1.4 million-hectare World Heritage. Here you see the face of creation all around you in the mirror lakes and rugged mountain peaks.

King Solomons Cave.. It is a beautiful large limestone cave that was discovered in 1906. It is lavishly decorated with shawls, stalactites and stalagmites. It is also richly-coloured and features calcite crystals known as 'King Solomons diamonds'. Well, the cave temperature is approximately 9 degrees, so it is quite cold there. The reason why it is named the King Solomons Cave is that there is a formation that resembles the face of a King (with the crown, face and the beard). You can also see what look like the "Three Sisters", the "Bridesmaid Chambers", the "river streams" ...

Cataract Gorge Reserve. One alternative of crossing the Gorge is provided by the chairlift which has been operating since 1973. Of the overall length of 457 metres, the 308 metre central span is claimed to be the longest single span in the world. This magnificent chairlift spans the huge natural basin filled by the surging waters of the south esk river that followed the depression formed at the time when Tasmania was once ruptured by earthquakes as violent as the earth, widening and deepening the gorge.

Grindlewald. A Swiss village where the houses and shops are Swiss style.

Seahorse Centre. You can view seahorses, leafy sea-dragons, pipehorses and pipefishes .

Swansea and Bicheno - Centre of Tasmania's East Cost

East Coast Birdlife and Animal Park. Spreads 32 hectares with Australian natives like kangaroos, wallabies, etc ... I got to pat a Tasmanian Devil and held a baby wombat which is very cuddly :)

Brickendon. It is one of Tasmania's oldest farming properties. This rural estate has been continuously owned and farmed by the direct descendants of William Archer, now in their 7th generation. One can experience the feeding of sheeps, horses and goats and get to watch a sheep being sheared. While it might looks cruel to shear the sheep during the winter, it is certainly better to shear the sheep in the summer since "getting rid" of the thick sheep skin helps it to feel more cooler in the hot weather!

Penguin Rookery. From the night penguin tour, you can witness up close and personal with the group of little cute penguins returning from feeding at sea and come onto the beach, to make their way to their burrows in the sand dunes!! They are about 30 cm tall and weigh only 40 grams, very small, isn't it? It is a very different experience, compared to the penguins you see at the zoo, where the penguins are usually kept in an enclosed area.

Hobart - Australia's second oldest city which rubs shoulders with the river and Tasmania's premier shopping destination

Port Arthur. Provides the insight into the hardship endured by the convicts. The tour showed the historical buildings, church, prison and the hospital. Pass through the convict transport ship' to use your player card in the Colonial Court section to find your convict's name and why he was transported! I got spade of five, and that belongs to a man who was convicted for housebreaking, hence being sentenced to lifelong transportation, and eventually shot to death for mulitple attempts of escape. Quite unbelivable! Such convicts were usually brought all the way to here although they only committed petty crimes.

Barilla Bay Oyster Farm. The company pioneered techniques of producing 'single seed oysters' that is, oysters which attach themselves to a single grain of sand, enabling the farmer to grow a far more evenly shaped oyster. They showed us on the growing and harvesting of oysters. In addition, we get to taste fresh oysters that have been just harvested, but i didn't try lah because i normally don't eat.

Salamanca Place. Noted for its Saturday market, which combines the beauty of its historic sandstone warehouses and shops for handicraft and bargain hunters! Too bad when i was there, it was a Thursday morning :(

Rosny Hill Lookout. Get a spectacular view of Hobart's beautiful harbour.
