The Ways
of
Magick
Often called the Olde Religion, the Olde Ways or simply the
Craft , Witchcraft is about our existence in the world and the worship of
that which created it. As Witches, we revere Nature, but we worship the
Creator. We do not worship the moon or trees or even the Earth. We revere
these things and others as symbols of the Creator in the dual aspects of God and
Goddess.
Witchcraft is more than just spells, brooms and magick. Though
these things are of great use at specific moments, the "true
power" is in the Witch, not the wand. True magick is wrought with the
naturally occurring energies of the Earth and power given from our Gods. These
energies are a part of all Witches and naysay all mankind!
The practice of Witchcraft is not about making a gothic fashion
statement or running around in Ren Fair garb. It is not about the trappings and
tools or how many books that you've read. The real meaning and true practice of
Witchcraft is all about worship!
The worship of our chosen aspect of Divinity is the
thing that is paramount to the true practice of the Craft. Without faith in the Gods,
I feel that we could do nothing!

Magick is given to us by the grace
