Hi Frenz, Again a posting after a long time....Life has changed quite a lot in these last months. I have changed my job and shifted to another city altogether....to KOLKATA. Still wondering why did I do that, but i guess life is another name for moving on...or rather moving ahead...so here I am in the city of joy...i.e Kolkata, still searching for joy and fun....3 months down the lane... :)
Life has changed on national & international front too. World is becoming more and more volatile with every passing year and this year too was no exception to the rule. The year passed by with no improvement in Afghanistan or Iraq, both shattered and crumbled. True to the saying...as u reap as u sow, Pakistan seems to be a brooding volcano, will erupt anytime. Benazir's assassination has rather confirmed this. Bangladesh saw a devastating cyclone and Nepal finally decided to end its 400 yrs old monarchy. Even India was ripped by series of bomb blasts from Hyderabad to Bananas & north-east killing scores of innocents and opening up another active zone of terrorism i.e. Bangladesh.
But they say in OSO...this is not the end because if its not GOOD its not the END. So was true for the year at least for India...it was another year celebrating the Saga of cricket, as a new form 20-20 cricket came on the scene and we becoming the WORLD CHAMPS!!!(the first time ever after 83). Formula One has a dramatic end this season. Front runner Lewis Hamilton lost the championship to Kimi who was at third before the last race. Its sad that Lewis lost the Driver's championship but he made the history for any rookie driver. .. We also witnessed R.K. Pachauri heading IPCC being awarded the Nobel prize for peace. Indian economy was making History. BSE crossed 20000 Mark this year and still its getting stronger. TATA is coming with its Rs 100000 Car ... Lets welcome a growing and stronger India in year 2008 :)
