Wow ... Today is the last working day of year 2005 .. :) and I came office very late what a great way to make a impression on last day ... :) and this weekend will take us to a new year, so it needs to be celebrated in big way. And, I hope i will do that but still have no plan for this weekend .. Hmmmmmmm Still thinking .. :) But, End of the year will also be remembered as shootout at IISc, Bangalore ... :( Anyway, Keep the spirit alive ... :)) Wish you all a very very cheerful and happy coming year, 2006 .....

Past two weeks were very tedious. I was very much involved in the project n got to work late in the evening to complete that ... its still not finished n will continue to next couple of weeks .. :) India won the Test-Series 2-0 against Sri Lanka and Kumble was declared 'Man of the Series'. New year just one week ahead ... Still no plan for the new year ... :0 Today, Everybody in office gave a gift to his/her 'secret angel' and that was fun coz u had to find out that person by given clue on the gift by that person who was your secret angel for this Christmas .... :) Next two days r free ... so have fun .. if wish come to join me ... :))

Well, Another weekend ... :) I saw the movie "Ek Ajanabi" and its gr8 to see Big B in action there ... :) Second test match is going to start in Delhi from tomorrow So i think it will be a cool timepass on this weekend. I have been involved in a new international project whole week and next week will also be hectic because of that project.Today, Whole Europe team went outside for Team-Lunch .. :) and We have TGIF party in the evening ... cool and hot dance party ... :))

Now we have entered into the last month of 2005 and after this month we will be in 2006.... :) Still I dont know whether i got my goal for this year or not and what to aim in next year ... lets see. Last week, I was little busy in my works. and still got time to find few good persons on 'orkut'. Its nice to have some TP in between loads of work. Amitabh Bachchan got hospitalized three days back and its very sad moment for Big B fans like me ... hope for his speedy recovery ... I went to watch movie "Apaharan" by Prakash Jha. Its again magical work by 11 national award winner director and 2 NA winner actor, but somehow i find it less affective than "Gangajal". More movies are coming this month and i am going to have a gr8 movie month then .... :))

Another weekend is coming ... This week i have completed a big project which kept me involved for quite long time. Lots of things happened in past week. India won the bangalore match & today taking on South Africa in Kolkata. A sad news from IITB where a guy commited suicide 'coz of acedemic stress.... :( I finished a novel " Train to Pakistan" last week. And, now reading a fiction called "The Alchemist". Its been a long time when i read any novel last time. The later one is very interseting and different from usual fictions ... :)

....... Good Bye Life : Suicide at IIT Bombay .....
         A very unfortunate news from my previous hostel in IIT - a 4th year student at IIT Bombay committed suicide after getting XX grades in three courses. XX is awarded when your attendance falls short. Read this TOI report . Excerpts -
         "Last week, fourth-year physics student Vijay Nukala, known on the campus as 'Nuke', committed suicide after being failed in three courses because of poor attendance. Regarded by all as the campus' networking wizard, Nukala had not scored high enough marks in his IIT-JEE entrance to get into computer engineering, his first love. Nukala had to make a presentation on the first stage of his project report the day he hanged himself in his room. His professors were aware of the stress the boy was under-as a precaution, they had asked his father to be in Mumbai last week."
         I don't know him personally but i can say that the stress on an IITian is always there. Back at home they are hailed as if they came down from planet Krypton. Parents, relatives & others expect them to keep outperforming just as they did in school or in IIT-JEE exam. For most of the students in IITs, IIT is the first place where they are challenged academically, the competition is many times tougher. Such expectations put a student under immense stress. I don't know the exact reason behind this but that guy was a real stud ( who developed the most widely used search engine in IITB 'UMANG' and its sure that IIT authorities need to look back to their course curriculums and make sure that these thing never happen again ..... !!!!!

I got new cellphone ... :) Now, its more than 5 month in Bangalore .. and, it seems that life is going little slow or its just stopped. Nothing significant is happening. It looks as simple as going to office and comming back ... Well, next couple of days are holiday. Its cool that tomorrow we have 2nd ODI between India and SA in Bangalore... i tried to get ticket but its sold much before ... anyway, i will watch this on my TV .....

Another weekend is coming ... next two days will be complete night outs with friends. Well, i lost my cellphone last week ... :( so, i m happy that i got a chance to buy a new one but sad because that was my favourite one. Few movies on last weekend and on yesterday was some cool timepass .... :)

This diwali wasn't a normal one. Serial bomb blast in Delhi just before the diwali eve made it gloomy ... :( but Team India's cricket victory at Jaipur against Sri Lanka brought back some smiles, still delhi bomb will take much time to forget. I was with my friends from friday to tuesday. On diwali eve, i was with friends from BHU, IIT and symphony serv. to celebrate diwali with diyas and firecrackers .... :) Coming Three days are holidays ... so come with me to watch movies .... :)

Being in royal Mysore palace on dashara eve was really a different experience altogether and getting drenched while watching torchlight parade was another part of that ... :)

Last week was a bit relaxing. I went for a movie " FlightPlan" and spend whole weekend with my friends. There is no plan yet for this diwali ... Most of the people are going home ... :(

Well, Past ten days were cool. We had our company's anniversary on 23rd sept. and that was a gr8 event. Dance, Song, Fusion, Laser show, Fashion Show .. everything was there ... it was just like our college's cultural fest. I performed Bhangara with few of my friends ... :)) Whole this week, i was busy in my work what i had not finished because of dance practice. This weekend i am planning to go out for trekking with my friends ... :)

I am back from IIT Bombay. Convocation ceremony was really a good exp. but meeting with our batchmates was more than that. HRD minister Arjun Singh came to award the degree. We people had gr8 time out there. Few night outs after 3-4 months was very cool. I dont know how last 4 days went off .... anyway those were best days .. ... :))

Last week was almost fun. Not much pressure regarding work but still there was lots to do. I am going to IIT Bombay today for the convocation (16th sept). I will be back on sunday. It will be gr8 to be there with my IIT friends after 4 months and i don't know when we ll meet again.... So just waiting to have some gr8 time out there ..... :))

Happy Ganesha chaturthi to all of you Last week was a bit relaxing than the earlier ones. Not much work in the office, so just completing the previous works. Now, Wednesday is holiday and my uncle is coming to bangalore on that day so it will be a good holiday .... :)

Well, Its almost past ten days that i didnt get any free time except on weekends. Projects were over a week before but some code development works kept me involved. I have booked my air ticket again for the convo.(IIT Bombay) and hope this time i don't need to cancel it .... :) And, Some secret things are going on here ... :) but i will reveal that only after this month .... Shhhhhhhh....

Independence day came & gone. Hope all of us must have remembered our country & its concerns. I m happy that on this independence day i contributed Rs 50 by sending SMS to project 'Swades' ... :)) We have three days holiday, its also a big relief.. I spent all three days with my friends n watched movie 'Mangal Pandey'.... :)

I m back from my home n now in banglore. I was there for two weeks and had planned to attend convo. in IIT Bombay before returning to Bangalore but all plans were cancelled because of flood situation in Mumbai. Convo. is posponed for one-two months.... so now back to my work .... :)

Well, I have completed my one month in office or u can say in Banglore ... :) This one month was really cool. Found some new friends and had a gr8 time with them ... having lunch together, watching movies (Sarkar, Parineeta) and chatting during off times in office ... :) Now, Training is over n i have started working on projects ... :))

Finally I got house in Banglore and will move there on 1st, july. So, u r welcome to my home now ... :) There is nothing as such in life now. Job training is going on .. we have 2-3 hours training session daily and then its practice time later on. It really feels that i am still in IITB's computer lab .... :)

Its more than one week in office now. I am trying to get habituated with the working conditions and timing here. Looking for house in Banglore, so still staying in guest house ... :) Hope to get one very soon ...

I have joined the job as associate consultant in Banglore. A whole new phase of life has been started now... :) Last 20 days were just few days of my free n cool life... :( I was at home n enjoyed those days as much as i can. Now its time to do the work in company . lets see how much i could do ... :))

New house n new TV ... :) now I am almost settled in Banglore. Training period is coming to the end. From next week, i ll be introduced to some project that ll be really interesting to see the theoretical knowledge meeting with real life application. And next month, i ll visit IIT Bombay for convocation ... :))

Really, Having work pressure is better than having no work ... :)) I m leaving IIT on 27th may... and i will join my company on 13th june ... till then enjoy

Its time to say goodbye to IIT. Exams r over. We guys r having some gr8 time after the end of the exams n other works. So many movies and other kind of lukhkhagiri r the only thing in the daily routine this time. Yesterday I went to Essel World with some of my friends and had gr8 time out there ... :) Now, all of us will go home and join some companies in june .... So we dont know when we ll meet again ... :((

This week was mix up of both hard work n fun... Farewell party & Datamining project. I went to attend farewell parties of hostel-7 and hostel-11 (a girl's hostel). Hostel 11's farewell party is just a big date for guys out here to meet girls from h-11 ...:) Today, We went to ICICI, Mumbai on our work visit. It was just a due picnic for we guys from ASI... :)) And, Now i will start again working on my datamining project ...

HAPPY HOLI "Wish u a very colourful HOLI". Yesterday, We had velfi. party organised by our juniors with a good dinner. It was a nice party where everybody shared his memorable days in IIT. I would like to thanks my juniors for this ... :) Tomorrow is Holi ... and this ll be our last Holi in IIT. lets see how it goes ... :)
