| Mary Rose Trudelle Emerson, the Trudelles' oldest daughter. Her campaign flyer pictured her four sons with the slogan, "My Four Main Reasons for Asking For This Public Office." The election ended in a tie so the two candidates drew numbers. Mary won and went on to serve a total of four terms as Chippewa County's Register of Deeds. | ||||||||||||
