Announcing our 2002 Scholarship Winner
Shauna Munich

Congratulations go to Shauna Munich, our first scholarship recipient!  Shauna graduated from Dr. Phillips high school here in Orlando and is now an active member of the Iota Alpha chapter of Chi Omega at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.  She is currently working towards a B.A. degree in International Studies with a concentration in Asian studies and has a 3.856 G.P.A.  Shauna is in her third year at SMU and plans to graduate early (Spring 2003).  She also recently spent a year studying abroad in Tokyo.

During her time as an active, Shauna has been the chapters Personnel Chair and the Philanthropy Day Coordinator.  She was also in charge of implementing the Sophomore and Senior experience with her chapter as well as volunteering for a Dallas-wide Chi Omega fundraising event.  Shauna has also been very involved outside of Chi Omega.  Shauna is a volunteer with the Japan-America society in Dallas and is also a part of Emerging Leaders of SMU, a program to mentor first year students at her university.

Shauna is a wonderful example of all of the outstanding women within Chi Omega.  We are all very proud of Shauna and wish her the best of luck with her future endeavors!
