Chi Omega is a proud sponsor of the Make-A-Wish^� Foundation. We have listed a number of ways for you to get involved.

Wishmaker�s Ball:
The Wishmaker�s Ball is our annual gala that includes a seat and dinner, silent and live auctions, and entertainment raising over $100,000 every year! This year�s event will be held Saturday, June 11, at Walt Disney World's Yacht Club Ballroom. As we start planning for this event, we are searching for volunteers to join the Ball Committee and assist us in the following areas:

�Soliciting in-kind donations as Auction Items for the Silent and Live Auctions
�Picking up items for the auction
�Day of the Event Volunteers
- (Set-up, Check-in, Auction staff, Spotters for the Live Auction, etc.)
�Selling Tickets/Tables to the event
�Other responsibilities many be included by are not listed

Airport Greeters:
We are in need of Airport Greeters for Orlando International Airport. This is a great way to stay involved with Make-A-Wish if you are waiting to attend a training session. It's also a great and fun way to donate your time. February shifts are still available. Orlando Office Assistance Volunteers:
We are looking for volunteers who may be able to assist us in the office with many different miscellaneous tasks. You may volunteer at your convenience around your schedule, let us know when you're available Mon. thru Fri. 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This can be a great way for students to pull in volunteer hours, stay active in between wishes, become more familiar with Make-A-Wish Foundation, or just get to know an incredible staff in a very fun environment! Florida Wish Granters:
Don't forget, we always need volunteers to be Wish Granters. Responsibilities include interviewing the Wish Child and Wish Family to determine what the child�s true wish is, then report that information back to the staff; where together as a team, the Volunteer Wish Granters and staff make that wish come true. You will also be encouraged to do research, acquire in�kind donations, and perform wish enhancements such as a party on Wish day. You�ll use creativity to make the wish that much more special. If you need enhancement ideas, please do not hesitate to contact the office. Remember, what the child gets out of it, is what you put into it.

Appreciation Party:
The Make-A-Wish^� Foundation of Central and Northern Florida will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation party for all volunteers during the Volunteer Appreciation month of April. Exact details have not yet been determined, but we would love to see everyone there. So keep an eye open for more details to come!
