The 16 contestants had rehearsal and met with the press for the last time before the pageant. The contestants went on stage in two piece swimsuit. They will be fighting for winner, 1st runner up, 2nd runner up, Miss Photogenic and Miss International Goodwill. The hot doors are #4 Joyce Wong, #5 Koni Liu, #13 Aimee Chan and #15 Janet Chow. #1 Amy Tsang and #14 Wendy Li are considered dark horses.

The contestants met with the judges yesterday. The contestants were all cover up and not overly sexy, #15 Janet Chow, who was wearing a qi pao said laughed that she had a sore throat and so had to wrap up her neck.
Judge Tina Leung said that the biggest surprise was that in past years, she had heard of reports of conflicts between the girls, but thought that the relationship between the girls this year was quite good.

The contestants attended two events yesterday, first one a health event and than the opening of the Hong Kong Beach Festival. #6 Rachel Chan was absent due to illness and #9 Chloe Nguyen did not attend the 2nd event after feeling unwell.
After #13 Aimee Chan stole the show, there was a report from the public that Aimee can gotten plastic surgery and breast implantations after losing the Miss Chinese Toronto pageant in 2004. Aimee said that she had taken part in many pageants to gain experience and had no ill feelings about losing. Aimee denies having plastic surgery and said that it may of been due to her body changing from 2 years ago.
#4 Joyce Wong and #8 Suki Chui defended #13 Aimee Chan, saying they don't believe the reports are true. They also believe that a natural body is better.

Even #4 Joyce Wong, who has a 35 inch bust could not compare. Although Aimee would not tell the press what size cup she had, the press guessed that she was a D cup.

This year's contestants met with members of the Wai Yin Society, which include past Miss Hong Kong contestants. They met with President Fan Sze Yin, vice-president Priscilla Chik and Wong Oi Lun to talk about their own experience. The girls were asked to wear their own clothes. #4 Joyce Wong and #5 Koni Lui were well dressed and eyecatching and did not compare to the other hot door, #8 Suki Chui who was wearing common clothes.
