Material Used

Custom makers in the United States are cutting production costs by replacing the tougher fiberglass fairing with ABS plastic. All of the fairings that I offer are guaranteed to be constructed from hand laid high quality fiberglass, using the best chemicals to construct a firm and sturdy fairing for your Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Fiberglass is far more stronger and durable than ABS plastic but requires more work and attention an costs higher.

Just Like The Original

There are plenty of makers who reproduce from the originals, and they provide cheaper alternative to the original factory molds. The fairing that is offered here is in all ways accurate to the originals. The shape, the size and even the thickness matches the original fairing. Is this a cheap knock-off? It's most certainly not.

Affordable

Getting a new fairing costs more than $1000USD and getting a used one would land near $600USD, and the last time the cost to ship the fairing to us was $650USD and custom taxed us more than RM699 with RM1 as service charge. You can get to have the same fairing with increased attention to detail and quality -- costing just a fraction of the original price you'd get if you bought one yourself.

Outside Costs

I am offering at the lowest price possible. Making a mold on your own will cost more than RM1000 excluding the paint job. Don't believe me? Ask around! Ask anyone who offers to make fiberglass. I offer half the price because of the quantity of fairings I make at a time. The paint job will cost approximately RM200 on just one side of the helmet, and RM400 for the whole job of the fairing. This applies to high quality paint that uses a mixture chemicals. Not the rattle-can paint.
