Introducing our new puppy,
Omega, an Afghan Hound, born September 28, 2001. This guy is a joyful
handful, coming from an ancient breed known for it's independence, alertness,
intelligence, and aloofness. This is the puppy that I've dreamed of for
about 15 years, and he is turning out to be everything I had hoped for,
but training him requires quite a time commitment. As long as I can convince
him that he really wants to do something that I really want him to do,
training progresses quite smoothly. It's an exercise in love and patience
that I appreciate.
