This day was to be such an exciting day that our mommies and daddies were up early. After breakfast, they got on busses to go to Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, China. The bus ride lasted three hours! Once our mommies and daddies checked into the White Swan Hotel, they had 1 1/2 hours to eat lunch and get ready to come and get us. The bus ride to Jiangmen took another three hours and our families thought it would take forever! There was a lot of construction along the way and the bus was at a standstill many times. Finally, after some wrong turns, the bus pulled into the Jiangmen Social Welfare Institute. Entrance Gate to the Jiangmen Social Welfare Institute We were presented to our families one by one. Boy, were there a lot of tears! Our mommies were crying and so were some of us. Some of the daddies were going around with cameras, trying to get pictures of everybody.
