The Cheetahs played the Essex Spartans for the first time ever in the final game of the season. The Spartans had the advantage playing at home and on astroturf, a surface that the Cheetahs have never won on. The Cheetahs were unable to snap this losing streak as the Spartans won a close game 14-0. Match report.
CHEETAHS BEAT THE SAINTS - AGAIN
A fine performance on Sunday saw the Cheetahs complete the double over the Saints with a 12-0 victory. The defence did not allow a pass to be completed all game and Adbul set a new club record by recording 3 fumble recoveries. Match report.
THOMAS DOUBLE SEES OFF CHEETAHS
A closely fought match was played on Sunday at Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club as the Cheetahs entertained the Sabres from Southend. Match report.
CHEETAHS WIN AGAIN AND DIGGER GETS MARRIED
A great week for the Cheetahs saw them notch up their second win of the season by beating the Oxford Saints 12-6. Match report. On top of this Digger got married - congratulations. An anonymous person has supplied me with this fine photo of him.
Cheetahs first year Linebacker Nick Michael's (Southampton Stags Uni) has been selected to play for the GB Bulldogs first ever British Collegiate League tour to the USA scheduled for 4th to 15th September 2002. Also selected was former Cheetah Sol Rodgers (O line, Hertfordshire Stags Uni).
Finally the fixtures have been sorted out for this season. First match is at home to the Kent Exiles on April 21st. Kick-off at 2.30pm. Check out the rest of the seasons fixtures.

is coming along very well and have been showing the seniors up in attendance.

or Giles know, also if you don't intend playing at all this year, we would

British Senior League have two new teams for the 2002 campaign which kicks off on Sunday 21st April and will culminate with BritBowl 2002 on Sunday 1st September. Check out who's in our conference this year.
Finally I'm back online and so the website will updated a bit more regularly. It's now got a new Cheetahs logo and hopefully over the coming weeks some more history about the club will be added along with all the news about this season. Check out the current all-time Cheetahs stats.
Training is to start again on Sunday 20th January 2002 from 1pm at Chiltern & Amersham Rugby Club. The first 2 weeks of training will be non kitted so rookies are welcome to come along and have a go. Kitted training will commence on SuperBowl Sunday, 3rd February 2002. Time to work off that Christmas pud!
Also on Sunday 20th January will be the first training session of the Cheetahs Youth team, starting at 1pm. Anyone over 14 and under 19 years old who is interested in playing American Football is invited to attend.
The Chiltern Cheetahs American Football team are setting up a youth team and would like to invite any Girls or Boys, over the age of 11 and 16 or under, that are interested in playing Flag American Football to a meeting that is being held at Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club at 1.30pm on Sunday 9th December 2001 (Parents are most welcome to attend). Flag American Football is a non-contact, no blocking or tackling game for both girls and boys.
