Head Coach Len Scott will be in charge again this year, his 9th for the Club but his 18th in British American Football. He has been boosted by the news that three quarters of last years squad will be returning for competitive action; a squad last year made up mainly of rookie players. Taking charge of the defense will be the newly appointed Defensive Co-ordinator Nick Michael.

One of those returning is Quarterback Deniz Karragulle, a young Q.B. with a strong arm. Other returnees include 16 year veteran Darren Whybrow and his brother Spencer; Giles Stevenson, now serving the club for his11th season and 15 year Cheetah veteran Alan Porter. The Club also welcomes back Linebacker Nick Michael and Defensive End Owen Thomas after touring the U.S.A. with the Great Britain Bulldogs.

On the recruitment front, the Cheetahs have attracted a lot of interest and the roster for 2003 will be made up of some 8 rookies. Chiltern's roster has also been boosted by some acquisitions in transfers, namely Rob Crowther, Andy Crowther, Adrian Stempe and Phil Green all formerly of the London Mets.
