About me...

Breastfeeding Friendly Premises in the UK...
My name is Michelle and I am a Student Midwife based in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.

My main aims for this site are

  1. To provide a resource centre for anyone interested in pregnancy and childbirth
  2. To provide resources for Student Midwives and those applying to study midwifery
  3. To compile a list of Breastfeeding Friendly Premises in the UK
  4. To promote natural childbirth, home birth and the true role of the Midwife.

I am hoping to compile a list of premises who are breastfeeding friendly.

Premises should have

  • an understanding of the needs of breastfeeding mothers
  • facilities that offer a welcoming environment
  • a smoke-free area (if appropriate)

If you would like a particular shop/cafe/community centre etc.. to be listed on this site as breast feeding friendly.
