Experience as a Musician

I have played the tuba for seven years, jazz baritone saxophone for two and jazz tenor saxophone for one.  I have played the tuba for the district of Macon for four years and the state of Missouri for one.  I have played jazz saxophone for the district of Macon for three years.

Four years of brass quintet, two years of brass choir, three years of solo performances, eight years of concert band, four years of marching band and three years of jazz band.
 

My decision to be a composition major was very sudden actually.  I had only been writing for a few months when I submitted a portfolio to be critiqued by the composition staff of University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC).  I compose and arrange for all types of ensembles (Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Brass Quintet, etc.).  I use the computer program Sibelius and spend approximately 20 hours a week composing and arranging.

Experience as a Web Page Designer

I have been designing and producing webpages since the first day my family received a computer, which is around four years ago.  I have design pages for anime, the tuba, my high school marching band and for my mother's business.  And in this case, where I am required by my teacher to produce a web page, I think my hobbies have come in handy.
