Piano Studio of Dr. Hsin-Lan Chien
  To play the piano should be under a fun and supportive enviroment. The goals of piano pedagogy is to ensure that every individual student receives the best music aducation through a professional instruction and personal attention. The mission of Dr. Chien's piano studio is to advance the love and enjoyment of music.
                Dr. Chien is a piano faculty at University of the Incarnate Word, Northwest Vista College, and Saint Mary's Hall since 2005. She performed on the faculty recitals of UIW and NVC as a soloist and piano duet. She was a judge of Achievement Audition at San Antonio Music Teacher Association in 2006. A devoted teacher, Dr. Chien has prepared students for admission of UTSA Summer Camp, Talent and Gifted Music Programs in local high schools, as well as the National Guild Audition, Achievment Audtion, and competitions. A recipient of numerous awards for accompaniment, she has successfully prepared students for top prizes in local and regional competitions.
                Dr. Chien has being an active member of National Guild, Alliance, MTNA (Music Teacher National Association) and TMTA (Texas Music Teacher Association). Besides UIW, NVC, SMH and Home studio, her piano teaching is recently extensive to Musicla Arts Center at San Antonio. She lives in Helotes, Texas (nearby UTSA, West Loop 1604, Sonoma Ranch-left on Kyle Seale) with her husband Dan Lo and their 5-years-old daughter Zoe.

2006 Winter Piano Recital at Steinway Piano Gallery
** Congratulations to Shirley Lam Lee, a sophomore at University of The Incarnate Wordis award of a full scholarship as a transfer student at Uni. of Iowa , and $4000 at UTSA. She now cureently studies at U of Iowa.

Eric Jin received Superior Plus rating at 2007 SAMTA Achievement Audition, and was seleceted to perform on the Judge's choice recital.
