An exciting new skyscraper, designed by Ian Simpson Architects, will transform Manchester's skyline. The tower will become the United Kingdom's tallest resedential building, also containing a Hilton Hotel. The tower will rise 171 metres (to the top of its spire), containing 47 floors. Manchester's current tallest building, the CIS tower (118m) which on completion was the tallest building in Europe, will be outstripped of it title by over 50 metres. Manchester's council, which are generally anti-skyscraper, welcome this development.
The pictures on this page are all renderings (as opposed to photographs), as the building isn't yet built. The renderings are from the official site, where you can find out more about the tower: www.beetham.uk.com/sales/tower_manchester |
