GOAL
|
To offer to the adolescents and young in situation of high risk a training proposal for the work through the same work.

TRAINING
PROPOSAL
|
The TESPA offers basic, brief and progressive courses in areas of CARPENTRY, ELECTRICITY and MECHANICS, in the morning from 07 to 13 hours) and in the afternoon from 13 to 19 hours). The service is free and the addressees can enter the TESPA at
anytime they want. TESPA organizes internships in companies or factories so that youths can
qualify themselves more and more.
TESPA looks for, also, to locate them in some jobs. The educational
proposal goes beyond the technical training: it looks for to integrate elements of human and Christian formation

PRODUC-
TION
|
TESPA carries out diverse works for the sale and for the external clients that request them.
The work areas are: carpentry, mechanics and electricity. Purpose: to generate certain resources that allow to cover, at least partly, the social expenses.

CRAFTS
|
TESPA promotes a small crafts center, integrated by mothers of family of the neighborhoods of the South of Quito. They use
only recycled elements.

History
|
Since 1987 Saint Patrick Workshops belongs to the Salesian
Project.
|
|
Addressees
|
The addressees are adolescent and young of the Salesian Project bigger than 14 years that have enough knowledge in the lecto-writing fields and calculation.
