GOAL
|
To stop the street negative process of the children who pass throuhg Santo Domingo from the Colorado from or toward the Costa, or from or toward the Sierra. Santo Domingo's location strategic ubication offers the possibility to develop a proposal of opportune welcome and of prevention.

ESTRATEGIC OBJECTIVE
|
To offer to the children in situations of high risk an integral educational proposal that improves their situation of life, favoring the development of their capacities and potentialities.

PROPOSAL
|
The Educational Proposal of the Salesian Project in Santo Domingo follows the same programmatic axes that are established in all the Salesian Projects of the country:
1) preventive attention in the street
2) opportune welcome and socio-familiar Reinsertion
3) help and school reinforcement
4) technician-handmade training
5) formation in values
6) medical and psychological attention

The Salesian Project began in Santo Domingo in 1996.

Addressees
|
The addressees are children, adolescents and youths (8-16 years) that are in situations of serious risk due to the negative street process in which they are involved.
