| The Piercings | ||||||||||
| While Jennifer and Kelly were down in OC, they both decided that, on the spur of the moment, they would each get a piercing. Kelly had always wanted to get the cartilage in her right ear done, so she decided she would have that done. Now, Jennifer, on the other hand, didn't take the idea of getting a piercing as fun as Kelly thought it would be, although she DID kinda want to get her eyebrow pierced... But, instead of getting that done, Jennifer decided that she would do the same thing as Kelly and get her cartilage in her ear pierced. Since Kelly is SUCH a great friend, she told Jennifer that she'd go first and tell her how it was. So, she, Jennifer, and Zerkel all walked into the room with the guy that did the piercing for the shop. Kelly hopped up into the chair, which was more like a bent medical table (like in a doctor's office), and she was ready for the piercing. The guy marked the spot on her ear...then had her look at it to see if it was placed well, and then when she said that it was, she sat back down and he got a needle out. I'm sure y'all could imagine what happens next, so I won't say it, for those of y'all with weak constitutions. But, 5 seconds later, Kelly had a new piercing, and it didn't hurt her a bit. So then, it was Jennifer's turn. She was still a little scared, but she did it, and Kelly was proud of her. I guess y'all could say that for the rest of the day, both the girls were in pain. If anything even remotely touched their ears, it would hurt them so much... But after the girls got home from their trip, their parents kinda flipped. Kelly's made sure that she wasn't going to do anything else, and Jennifer's mom kinda freaked out. But now, both the girls are still alive and have their piercing...isn't that what really matters? Moral of the Story: Hey...if you really want a piercing, get it done! You're only young once! ...Well, just don't go overboard. You never know if your parents will kill you for it. Or, if you do want to get something extreme done, go far away from where you live. That way, you won't see anyone that you know! Or, better yet, wait until you've moved out of your parents' house.....then they can't tell you to take it out when they see it! |
