| Chapter 9 Shianne walked into Cancun just as the town was bustling busily. She managed to find a clock and was amazed to find out that it was already 9am. The flight from Georgia to Cancun took a little over three hours. She wondered how she had even gotten on the plane with all of her weapons without being stopped. It then occurred to her that the jewels had a funny glowing tint to it just before she walked inside of the airport. She then wondered if the jewels had masked her weapons. It was certainly a good explanation. Before getting on the plane in Georgia she had searched almost the entire night for Trenton and Breanna. Suddenly it occurred to her, she was exhausted and needed sleep, a great amount of it. Knowing there wasnt much she could do she walked to the nearest Hotel quite glad that she could speak enough Spanish to get her a room. Me dispensa, puedo obtener una habitacin por favor? She nodded at the few questions the man at the desk asked her handing over the money needed to pay for the room. After she was handed the key she walked upstairs to her room slowly. She put the key into the lock, opening up the door slowly. It creaked as it opened in a protest but she stepped forward into the room anyways. Reaching around she finally found the light switch and flipped it on. A dim light flipped on overhead just enough to light the room so she could see. Turning around she shut and bolted the door as well as sliding the chain shut. Oh... Shianne breathed lightly at the room. It was absolutely the pits, even though it was clean, it wasnt clean. She glanced around, dropping her backpack on the table. After she walked around the room to make sure it was secure she took her weapons off, dropping them down beside her backpack. Goodnight Breanna and Trenton.. I know mom and dad are up there looking out for you.. Shianne whispered as she looked out at the stars. Goodnight Christian... I love you, I hope you know that... Dropping down to the bed it took her merely a few minutes to fall to sleep. In her dream she saw Alex and Michael killing her parents again. +~+Dream+~+ Tsutomu yanked the sword out of her fathers gut after twisting it. He flipped the sword around his wrist watching her father cough up blood while gasping for air. With a smirking look towards Shianne he spun the sword around his wrist slamming it into the side of her fathers neck. He grabbed another sword in his left hand out a scabbard. He slammed the sword into the other side of her fathers neck like he did the first one. TIME TO DIE!! he screamed as he brought both blades through her fathers neck decapitating him. Even in the dream, Shianne screamed and lunged forward. Except this time she saw herself doing the same thing. In the dream she was inside the shield but she still couldnt do anything, she was helpless. Then Alex went after her mother... just as he did before. With a laugh Alex slammed the sword into her mothers chest directly to the side of her heart, not yet piercing her heart. He slowly twisted the sword around as he brought it into a circle around her heart. He put on a claw glove on his right hand after putting the bloody sword back into his scabbard. He plunged the claws around the circle he had made slowly digging the claws deeper into her skin and flesh. With a growl he squeezed the claws around her heart slowly twisting and pulling on it. He yanked the heart out along with the flesh, muscle, and tissue holding it in his clawed hand. He tossed the heart to the side as he watched her mother fall to the ground, nothing but a limp object now. Again, Shianne screamed except she was screaming in the dream as well as in the hotel room. +~+End of dream+~+ Shianne sat up in her bed screaming and shaking. Her entire body was covered in sweat and was tensed up in agony. Finally she calmed herself down enough to stop screaming so she wouldnt bring anyone up to the room. She wrapped the blankets tightly around her shoulders still shivering. Her eyes narrowed angrily as she spoke five words, I will make them pay. She quickly glanced at a clock only to see that it was already 5pm. She had nearly slept the entire day away. She climbed out of the bed and wandered over to the bathroom. Stripping out of her clothes she walked over to the shower. Still yawning she leaned over to the shower, turning it on to warm, almost cool, almost hot. With a groan she climbed into the shower, washing every part of her body while formulating a plan. Once the shower was over she dried off and walked out of the bathroom to her backpack for some clothes. She dug around in her backpack only to find black running pants, a fiery red tank top, and black boots. She slipped on her lexan armor underneath the pants before slipping into the tank top. Grabbing her black cloak off the floor she tossed it over her shoulders. After drying her hair a bit more she left it down, letting it sway and curl lightly around her face and shoulders as well as down her back. She reached over to the table grabbing a pair of sunglasses, which she slid up above her eyes, pushing her hair back a bit. Now... the weapons... Before she gathered her weapons she slid the holsters and sheathes onto her body so shed have a place to store them. She slid her 45 mag into the holster on her right side slightly below her armpit. She placed the 45 glock on her left hip and the .357 desert eagle in the holster on her left side near her ribcage. She put the caster gun and the ammo and caster shells needed for these weapons in her backpack for easy access. She stuck a dagger into each boot, three daggers inside the left hidden area in her cloak, a silver bladed double edged sword with five jewels in the hilt of the sword representing her family into the sheathe she had placed on her right hip. She slid her staff into the back of her cloak, twisting it into the hidden compartment so that it fit snugly against her back and wouldnt fall out when she flipped over. She slid two katanas into a double sheathe on her back, the katanas running diagonal. Thatll do for now, Ill search for more weapons as I search for the others. Shianne slipped the backpack on over her shoulders as she headed out of the room. She tossed the desk clerk her key before leaving the hotel. She wasnt planning on staying another night, no matter what. Heading out into the streets of Cancun she scoped out the people still formulating the plan for her search and destroy job. |
