| Mary with Bandit plus Hannah Mary lives on Wilmington Island with her husband Bob, son Quintin who is an author, and four dogs. One dog is a female, part-wolf rescue named Abby. Another is an older male beagle named Geoff. And then there are Mary's two Chihuahuas. Hannah is a three-month old female. She is a beautiful, rare blue Chihuahua who was the center of attention at our clubs April meeting. For those of you who are not familiar with this coat color, it is a kind of grey that has a blue tinge in it. Bandit (pictured above with Mary) is a six-year-old male Chihuahua. Mary's other son orginally owned Bandit and gave him to her. Bandit is, without question, the number one dog in the household and "rules the roost" according to Mary. He is a handsome, well-behaved dog with a black and brown coat. Mary describes him as friendly and loving, and says he wants constant attention something she is happy to provide. |

| Elisa and Gio with Buster & Bentli Two of our more involved members are Elisa and Gio. She is from Newport, RI, while he is a Georgia native. Elisa loves children and her goal is to be a teacher. She will graduate from Savannah Techs Childhood Education program in 2006 and then continue college-level studies for two more years. Gio recently became a Chatham County firefighter, a career that appeals to him because it both offers a challenge and involves service to others. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, and his future plans include obtaining a masters degree there. The couple have two active and playful male Chis who get along famously together. Buster, the oldest at two years, is white with tan markings. Bentli is a tan dog about a year younger that was purchased to keep Buster company. Elisa and Gio agree that both dogs are spoiled rotten but well-behaved. Elisa and Gio had their first child in October 2005, a little girl they named Abrielle. They have a house in Whitemarsh Island that is large enough to accommodate a growing family and also has a sizable fenced backyard where their Chis can play. |
