A list was passed around during the meeting since all chaperones were present except for 1 that has not yet made a payment. The students will begin to select roommates on Monday and should be complete by Thursday. Barry is waiting for a final total for March Mayhem and also for an e-mail in regards to the cost of leaving Thursday night vs. Friday morning for the band trip. The hope is to be able to leave on Thursday night without increasing student costs. All uniforms need to be turned in as soon as possible so any repairs can be made and they can be staged for the trip. Spring concert is scheduled for May 12th for the concert band. The jazz concert, originally scheduled for May 14th, has been cancelled. This is the same day as the district retirement dinner and the day the trailer will need to be packed for Cleveland. The jazz band will perform on May 3rd for the boy scouts at Killens Pond, May 27th at the Lewes Library, and during the Delmarva Jazz/Blues Festival on May 10th, also at Killens Pond. When the first payment of $30 was due, the number dropped to maybe of 1 bus. Due to the lack of participation, the trip was cancelled. In regards to fundraisers for the choir, the phone tree does contact choir as well as band students. Participation is up to each individual. For any parents or students with concerns in regards to fundraisers, trips, etc, Gail would like to be contacted directly. Parents may contact her anytime with questions or concerns.
